New regulations on filing
Shipper's Export Declaration (SED)
for U.S. export shipments.

Effective July 2 2008, the Census Bureau’s Foreign Trade Division (FTR) will require mandatory filing of export information via the Automated Export System (AES). The FTR is allowing an additional 90 days from the effective date to implement these new regulations.

After September 30, 2008, you must file your export information electronically through the AES. Submitting paper Shipper’s Export Declarations (SEDs) will be in violation of the FTR and subject to penalties.

Quick International can file the SED on your behalf, however, a written authorization is necessary.
